I don't have a lot of volume on my laptop, but from what I could hear it sounds like wolf to me, are there any wolf hybrids being raised in the area or is this in remote country?

Not remote like what you'd call remote in colville terms. But it's outside of town in Duvall. Definitely more woods etc than houses. Stossell Creek that Shank referred to is state forest/large tracts of DNR land. Sort of like your place is  relative to downtown Colville Dale.

This audio was recorded outside Duvall the other night from the Pipeline trail.

Yes it does.  Markworth and the west side of Hancock seem like the perfect west side habitat.  Lots of prey, plenty of clearcuts where they can see, roads where they can cut off prey, pretty flat so they can move easily, and a big watershed that nobody can access right at the end of the pipeline road.

My camp mates heard wolves behind elk camp last week.
Near above Orr Ridge Rd. In the Nile.
I slept through it.
We heard one near the boarder of manashtash and taneum a week ago around 11:30 one night while getting up to take a piss at elk camp .

Put lots of miles on the logging roads in Marcworth. Ran in to bears and a cougar......now wolves ;)  that sucks.

Hopefully it will be one of my cameras.

My buddy and I were hunting in GMU 204 last Thursday morning 10/22/15. In the lower portion near most of the camping areas off of Mt. Annie Rd. Heard the wolf howl and shortly thereafter saw it run past us in the area we were hunting.
