8/25/21 deep in Norse peak. Had my lab with me while pulling SD cards in cameras. She started acting very odd/cowardly, I've only seen her do this around Cats in the past. Got my hair stood up so I exited the thick I was in and headed up the south facing ridge out of the drainage . Just after clearing the thick and into some open hillside, I spotted it about 40yards down the ridge. When it saw me it spooked off up into a bunch of trees. My stupid dog after seeing it relaxed.lol also I didn't think to photograph it or it's prints. I sat down there for a lunch to give the wolf time to bug out, then headed over to where I saw him, found a nice clean track in dust/sand and walked my dog right through.  Amazing the difference. Also, the coloring had a touch of brown/red but predominay grey and white. Coyote impossible, my black lab is medium to large (65lb) and I sat her here I spotted the wolf backed to my position and the shoulder height difference was absurd, easily 9"-1 foot. Pretty cool animal, unlike other people here I don't flip my *censored* about wolves, I have to contended with other unregulated predators.

We all contend with unregulated predators but I can see from your post you havent a clue what others contend with regarding wolves for the last 10+ years.  If they killed your stock and decimated your ungulate herds Id guess your take on wolves would evolve some.

Yeah I’m one of those that kind of flip my lid, when I see any and all unregulated predators especially when they are in the act of taking animals that are off-limits to me. most of the time they are off-limits to me due to the over harvest from these unregulated predators. And most of which will be always defended because they have some sort of God-given right over Me. But I would say the wolf is probably the least defended out of that group. I think any and all of them need to be regulated and kept in check. Seeing more Wolves in central Washington all the time. Mostly singles still but just waiting for all those to turn into packs of 10 or 20 and see the last of our deer and elk disappear. Now if we could just get these unregulated predator groups to turn on each other and see the other as food, or profit,  we might get some where

Sorry if this is wrong place for this, or if this thread is closed. Just joined a couple days ago, & 1st time posting. I really appreciate those that are sort of keeping track of where wolves are. If you are or aren't keeping track still, you have inspired me to share anyway. At the very least, it could be useful info. Last rifle season opened October 17th. Opening morning, 10/17/2020, decided to go to Aeneas creek area. Sitting with my daughter, on her 1st ever hunt, saw a muley hauling butt about 300-400 yards away. And I mean hauling, put up scope to see he was tired, as his tongue was hanging way out. About 200 yards behind him a lone gray wolf was hauling right after him. Only had a small window to see both of them before they were out of view. 1st wolf I have ever seen in wild. Daughter asked if I was sure it was a wolf. I've seen tons of coyotes, & no doubt it wasn't a coyote. The wolf I saw with no scope, easily. Would barely have seen a coyote without scope from that range.
 Same year, but Tuesday morning the 19th, hunting on private up off of marbelle. Snowing pretty hard, missed my once in a lifetime 4x5 muley. An old boy, about 200 yards, but snowing like hell. Missed, 1st time I've ever missed. Anyway heard wolves all morning to the north maybe 2 miles, they didn't move from that spot all morning & were sounding off all morning, pretty neat actually. Heard at the very least 5, most of what I heard were all pups, at least 3. The owner of the land we hunt on, when we 1st came to say hi, and ask if we could hunt again this year, said that she had 2 black wolves that moved in, that had eaten a few of her cattle. Of course, really emphasizing how nice it would be if could help her "take care of her problem". But the intense hatred she had for these animals was evident. And well deserved I might add. Normally, for the past 6 years or so, every year, she will tell us of a bear, or a cougar that has been stealing some of her cattle. This last year, 2020, she had lost in her words, several, cows as of mid October, to bear, cougar, & wolves.

You would flip you **&(^ about wolves if they were in your back yard and you have seen the local mule deer herd dwindle from 24 in April to 14 today...and that is with this years fawn crop.Years past at this time there would be up to 15 fawns...this year only 4 have survived. You can stick those wolves up your bleeding hearts arse.

Not sure if anyone else has seen them north of the Nile Fire Station, but nn 11/5/2021 at approx 4:00pm we spotted a single white wolf on NF-1701 near the intersection with NF-1716.  Crossed a spur road about 75yds away and was huge.

My buddy saw a lone Black in the head of Fish Creek. He was in the saddle between North Fork of Fish Creek and Mack Creek. Just saw the one. This during modern Deer

Pack of nine wolves spotted three miles from Colville, we hear wolves all the time at our place which is only about two miles from the high school, but a bit of a surprise to see nine full sized wolves running together so close to town.

Lone black wolf seen at the lower cuts on grouse mtn and a lone gray wolf just below the top of grouse feeding on a elk carcass at the top of the Hancock cut. Both mid November. Driving up to elbow lake on sheep creek rd. we saw more wolf tracks than deer tracks.

But I'm sure there is just one pack in the wedge like the WDFW says.
