Lone black wolf seen at the lower cuts on grouse mtn and a lone gray wolf just below the top of grouse feeding on a elk carcass at the top of the Hancock cut. Both mid November. Driving up to elbow lake on sheep creek rd. we saw more wolf tracks than deer tracks.

But I'm sure there is just one pack in the wedge like the WDFW says. :bash:

I think those are too far east to be considered the wedge pack, but I guess because they are in the "geographic area" that makes it easier to admit for the WDFW there are more than several groups.   :dunno:

I guess anything between the rivers would be a wedge pack wolf?

Pack of nine wolves spotted three miles from Colville, we hear wolves all the time at our place which is only about two miles from the high school, but a bit of a surprise to see nine full sized wolves running together so close to town.

Which direction from colville were they spotted? I live just a few miles further up tiger from you
:yeah: I'm just a little over 5 miles out Aladdin from the high school

The pack of nine was spotted close to the intersection of Douglas Road and Larsen Road. 100% reliable sighting! Plenty of cattle in that area for them to ponder over!

If they would only ponder all would be well, but a growling stomach usually puts them in the vermin group.  Thanks for the report!!

Saw 3 jet black wolves west of Springdale and North of Springdale Hunters rd this morning while walking to my stand. Saw them from a distance running the opposite direction on a small timber co clear cut. Didn’t worry too much about it until 10 mins later they were ~150 yards away on a ridge opposite where my stand was. Just sitting there watching my direction. One was MASSIVE. Was too dark to get them on video as it was still pretty low light.

That’s for sure. Hopefully Larsens and Dawson’s are keeping a close eye on things.

Couple NE corner wolves.  Dates and times are accurate.  We were at the cabin when they came down the driveway.....thankfully the dogs were not out.

Myself and 2 of my buddies watched a grey wolf on top of Stensgar Mt. On August 7th. We inadvertently set up to bear hunt 200 yards from a moose kill. The wolf came to within 150 yards. We watched it for 2-3 minutes.

Buddy of mine saw one up there too, a couple of years ago. Sad. I like that area

About 3 miles south of the Waneta border crossing up Iroquois. Lone black wolf. Hoping the video works out. Saw another on west side of Columbia river up from Northport. No pics of that one but it was black as well. Pic added
Just one more day

Just seen a wolf chewing on a dead deer on the side of the road 8 miles south of Northport on highway 25. We’re on our way out of town on a dead line or we would have went back to take a picture  :( .

If it were up to me ( which it usually is 90% of the time) I would have turned around to at least try and get a shot with a camera

A few years ago a wolf was hit by a logging truck on the Pierre Lake road north of Barstow when the responding Leo asked the driver why he didn't swerve he calmy responded that he had.
