LMAO!!!!!!! that is awesome!!!!!

you would think the "no trespassing, violators will be shot on sight, survivors will be shot again" sign that we have posted at the entrance of our place would be enough.

Where is your land?  I've seen a sign like that before and I'm trying to remember where.

Also, I think you forgot to attach the trail cam pic in your earlier post.

OK.... stupid question... As a home owner thanks to fences etc.  I know where the property lines are.
I also hunt a farm where it's posted so I know where the lines are.
And ... if I ever plan to hunt in an iffy place I'll make sure I have a GPS... (but they aren't infallable)

So, not to start a firestorm... but do you have markers up?

Also.... general question... If I'm on public land and I shoot an animal do I have to stop following the blood trail when it crosses over?     Just curious...

I like to follow the rules... less stress that way. 8)

Absolutely - even if you can see the animal you shot laying there dead or dying on that person's land - you still need to have permission to recover it.

No you don't! But it is the best way to go about it! Contact local officials if you cant find land owners info

I'm looking for where it says you can:
RCW 9A.52.080
Criminal trespass in the second degree.
(1) A person is guilty of criminal trespass in the second degree if he or she knowingly enters or remains unlawfully in or upon premises of another under circumstances not constituting criminal trespass in the first degree.
(2) Criminal trespass in the second degree is a misdemeanor.
[2011 c 336 § 373; 1979 ex.s. c 244 § 13; 1975 1st ex.s. c 260 §9A.52.080 .]
Notes:
Effective date -- 1979 ex.s. c 244: See RCW 9A.44.902.

RCW 9A.52.090
Criminal trespass — Defenses.
In any prosecution under RCW 9A.52.070 and 9A.52.080, it is a defense that:
     (1) A building involved in an offense under RCW 9A.52.070 was abandoned; or
     (2) The premises were at the time open to members of the public and the actor complied with all lawful conditions imposed on access to or remaining in the premises; or
     (3) The actor reasonably believed that the owner of the premises, or other person empowered to license access thereto, would have licensed him or her to enter or remain; or
     (4) The actor was attempting to serve legal process which includes any document required or allowed to be served upon persons or property, by any statute, rule, ordinance, regulation, or court order, excluding delivery by the mails of the United States. This defense applies only if the actor did not enter into a private residence or other building not open to the public and the entry onto the premises was reasonable and necessary for service of the legal process.

 :yeah:

Not allowed on anyones property with out permnission and it is up to the person to know the land boundryies and the owner does not have to post his property.
