I found one a couple weeks ago about 25 yards from one of my cams, waved and walked on by, then moved my cam.
Yeah I had a guy look at my cam, look at the trail, then place his camera on the tree right next to mine. Come on man get some creativity. I'm not claiming the spot, but at least hide it a little bit.

I'm not sure what the deal was with this, but I wondered if it was 3 separate people all posted up on the same tree or 1 dude with 3 cameras  :dunno:

Odd part was it was a long ways from any good roads

Maybe 3 different camera brands and doing a test to see which works best or doesn’t miss pictures

This guy and his lady had their paws on my camera for a good 45 minutes.  Taking pictures of it and I think maybe they were trying to hack it??  They were also putting their fingers on the lens and motion detector as if it were biometric sensors.  Also staring into the lens thinking it was a retina scanner.  A little odd.

P.S. The timestamp is incorrect.  This was from late last year.
Ever see that episode of Jim Shockey with his father and father in law when they stumbled upon a trail camera? They put their faces right up into it like this and kept asking it if it was an internet

the top one is a modem for the cell cam. the bottom is a backup. Not good cell service there and it eats battery's on the modem connecting all the time.

The bottom back up cam probably more reliable and more pics taken.
On another I've had more people on cams than any year.
Seems people are out and about a lot these days.

4 miles from the nearest trailhead, 1/2 mile off the nearest trail. And I thought I was dedicated!

Welp if this is you, thanks for leaving the camera there. My first cell cam, just placed it two days ago. Send me a message if you'd like to trade info on this spot.

We need a new thread maybe.  Cams on cams.

If this is yours, I waved at you.  Interesting spot, not too far from a wallow.  Also, smack in the middle of a prime mushrooming area.

Don't post my picture please, I'm shy.

Well I took a picture of a picture with my phone off the laptop, so I’m sure I lost some quality there. And your right, wasn’t a very clear picture to begin with. But…it still pretty easy to make out what it’s a picture of

I found one early September in the wilderness. Should say I revisited the site to see if it was still there as I'd found it a few years ago. Looked like I'd just missed the guy that put it there. He left an apple core on his mineral lick and it was brand new. Would have liked to talk to him about the area some.
I hunt, therefore I am.... I fish, therefore I lie.
