Even after attempting the "go arounds" to access the classifieds, I can't ever get in. It keeps telling me I have to register.  :dunno:
My biggest fear is when I die, my wife will sell all my guns for what I said they cost me!     ;)

Anyone else having problems posting pics?  Size is OK, 1.2 MB = 1200 KB.  I type the post, attach a pic, hit reply... wait for it, wait for it... blank screen, nothing!  One did finally post last night but not sure what I did differently on that one.

Any ideas??

every time...I have to post without the pics then come back and "modify"...not sure what's up.

Still happening, plus I can only post one at a time.   :(

I have been restructuring the forum with several changes and improvements.

Members who don't like the social topics can collapse that whole category.

Gear Topics have been moved into one category and reviews are now elcome in those topics

I will research this photo problem as soon as possible. Just for a test I am attaching random photos to see if I have a problem.

I first tried to post 8 photos and it didn't load, but 4 photos posted fine. Maybe try not exceeding 4 photos and be sure none are larger than 800x600.

I will check this out further when I have time.

This is what happens when I try to use the hyper link.

type - "test"

click hyperlink =

[url=http://www.camofire.com/?]]http://www.camofire.com/?]

my typed text is removed.

Most hyper links I use are something like

type - "test"

command or button: hypertext

window pops up to insert link

the text "test" becomes highlighted in blue and underlined

test

click "test"

and that is all you should see. It does not seem to work that way here. Am I missing something?

times before with just leather, wool and cotton.

Web Links
Click "insert hyprlink" and put the hyperlink desired between the begining code [url and the ending code /url]. Or you can simply paste the link you want and the forum will automatically make it a link for you.   http://hunting-washington.com

Yes, but only when I try to post photos that are bigger than 800x600. Try resizing them to that size, and try posting. I bet it will work for you. Or, use Photobucket, it will work for sure if you do it that way.

Did you get it to load?

Keep the photos 800 x 600 or smaller and you should have no problem.

I'm not sure how a different camera would make a difference.   :dunno:

Won't matter what camera you use, the pictures will still need to be resized. (unless there's something I'm not understanding)

Bobcat, I am the worlds  worst when it come to taking care of cameras and cell phones, for some reason they don't like getting dumped in water or in the mud, I need one that is bomb proof, so most of my photos are from someone Else's camera, or my cell phone that has been thru the ringer, technology and me are like oil and water, I'm going up to Alaska fishing in June so I'm in the market for a point and shoot camera that's water proof.

I'm pretty hard on phones too. I now have a casio commando, takes pretty good photos, supposed to be waterproof, dustproof, shockproof. The screen is a little touchy, but other than that I really like it.

For a handy camera three of us are using Sony Cyber Shots. The only thing I don't like is the battery i have to charge every month or two, wished it used AA batteries like my old panasonic.
