I didn't get the @ mentions notification. When you type the @ and then start to type a username, there should be a window that opens with choices of usernames, you have to click on a username to make it a live action that sends the mention to the member.

Regarding the issues, I'm really not sure what is happening to you, but I strongly suspect the issues causing the errors must be part of the problems you and a few others are experiencing. We are trying to find the right person(s) to fix these errors, but it may take a while, I am told the two guys who are best at these issues are both very busy. We are trying to get one of them to take a look!

@full choke
Your problem is that you're being picked up by the firewall. Your computer/modem/ISP is trying to open a strangely large amount of connections to different ports in rapid succesion. The firewall sees this as portscanning which is prohibited - and so you're temporarily blocked. (It removes itself again after a while (under normal circumstances.), which explains why you can access it again "at random".)

I've made those settings a bit more lenient in the hopes that this will reduce the problems for you and others that might be affected, but it's undesired behaviour so you might want to check what's causing it. Unfortunately, scanning through the logs it's mostly comcast users being affected - so it might be something strange their equipment does, in which case it might be a bit difficult if that's your ISP.

Mod team is working on the photo issue.

I am updating my computer and need to change some profile info. But I have forgotten my original pass word and the email listed in my profile is no longer active. Can the password be sent to my new email?  sewaitkus@gmail.com

You can change your own password in your profile or I can provide a temporary password that you can continue to use or change it after you login. Send me a pm with the email address where I should send the new password.

Then when I click on the "Advanced" tab, I get this:

As the internet matures it has become necessary to switch from being an http to https which means the site has an SSL certificate which essentially indicates the website is compliant and safe. These days trusted websites all have an SSL and are HTTPS. We have recently obtained an SSL on the H-W server, but I haven't had time to update all the pages. But if you click advanced and click some other option then you can access the site. Just play around and you will find your way in.

It may take some time for me to get all the pages updated to being HTTPS pages, it's something I don't have time to do right now. But rest assured the server does have the SSL certificate.

It’s a Tapatalk/huntwa interface thing. Apparently there’s not a fix, although it works fine on all the other forums.
