From the way his eyes appear to be glassed over I would suspect an 8 ball/Percoset/Mailbu Coke interaction.   With three days left they have started to party early...

Well as it turns out the county road crew grabbed him before i could get the gamies to take a look.  Now if i see another one dead then i might get a little freaked out

:yike: :yike: :yike: :yike: :yike:  Darn it!  They beat me to it!  Give me a holler and I will provide on-site testing which starts by gutting, cleaning and skinning.  Once I've examined the animal without it's hide I will then proceed to load it in my truck and bring it back to my "lab" for further testing.  After I've deboned the meat I will store them in separate wrapping sections inside the "freezer" to keep the meat from spoiling so I can provide further "testing" at a later date.  The "Extensive Testing" process usually takes anywhere from a month to 3 months to complete but, once the meat is all gone I will let you know the results. :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Now that is a hard core meat-a-tarian!! I like your style.  Plateau you can do the same thing.  Get in that "rez rider" you talked about with the steel bumper and drive up and down the Yakima Canyon.  You'll never go hungry promise.   :chuckle:

Most likely hit by a car and died of internal injuries. You don't have to see any external injuries for there to be bleeding internally.

When I was in highschool we ended up doing disections on fresh killed deer from the dept of fish and wildlife. I took a class on that for wildlife management. One of the deer we disected ended up having 5 pellets in his head... So we found out what killed that deer that was found on private property in Yelm.
So very much this buck could have been shot by a pellet gun.
