Wifes first coyote
« on: November 03, 2011, 08:58:38 AM »
Here is my wires first coyote and the first animal she killed with her new gun.  Before this she had not killed anything bigger than a grouse.  This was the third coyote to go by us  at less than fifty yards opening morning of modern deer.
I've hunted almost everyday of my life, the rest have been wasted.

Nice yote, lady. I'm torn whether I'd like it or not if my wife hunted. It would be great to spend that quality time together. But, I'd never get any peace, ever!  :'( :bdid: :yike:

Well done!!!

She says thanks everybody!  She is hooked, first yote and first deer same day from the same rock with her brand new rifle.  Telling me how it is a killing machine!  :chuckle:  She never hunted or hardly even camped before we got together, I told her I hunt, so she had better start or be a "hunting widow" every fall.  It does have its challenges and at times can be frustrating, but it is good time spent together.

Great job mentoring, 509. New blood in hunting is everything. And, she's a predator killer. Even better!

Wastick and pianoman - you guys are hilarious! I love my wife but I know what you mean!

Nice job Mrs. 509er! I LOVE it when I get something with a new gun! I'm starting to think its almost a good luck charm, it seems every time I take a new gun out I call in a coyote! Last few times out I got nothing, take my .243 out for the 1st time - dead coyote!  :dunno:
I aint superstitious - cuz its bad luck!
