Wynoochee Elk

So I was wondering what a guy can expect to see in the Wynoochee during October 1-10.

Are the bulls still in the rut, is it the heat of the rut, is the rut almost over?

What size of bulls would you expect to see during that time?

And what kind of land is most of the unit made up of, timber company, private, national forest, other?

Thanks for any answers to any of the above questions. Branden

Private timber, some N.F, lots of hunting pressure so not a lot of elk and those that do escape dont live very long, genetics are weak..i would find somewhere else if at all possible
