Be a lot more interesting if they would take a few right turns every now and then, my old man watches it religiously.  Hope you have fun and the weather cooperates.

I have never seen a NASCAR race, oval racing is pretty boring.

Oval racing in Indy Car is boring, too....NASCAR is just worse...if it weren't for the wrecks, nobody would watch.

I don't watch for the crashes.  Indy cars are no fun to watch now that is boring.  Road courses you can only pass in certain areas and it is all pretty much single file.  They don't race side by side they even have to have a push to pass.  If you have never watched a NASCAR race watch this weekend or goto a race.

You will have more fun going to a Saturday night local race. I personally enjoy going to Skagit Speedway. I've been crewing and a crew chief on sprints since '97.

I have to get up to Skagit.  I grew up on dirt tracks watching my dad and uncle race in MN.  Watching local stuff is a blast.  Got to watch the World of Outlaws both in Vegas and Chico.  Now that is some racing.  Boogity boogity!!!!

Spent 10 years overseas.  There's two kinds of racing....Formula 1 and Rally.  There were a few others that had quite a bit of coverage too.  Semi truck racing, off road hill climb obstacle course, motorcycle and motorcycle hill climbing.

Used to watch quite a bit of racing because it was one of the few things that you didn't need to speak the language to understand what was going on.

If I had to pick one between F1, Rally and NASCAR it would be Rally racing.

If I'm not doing anything and NASCAR is on I'll watch it.  I may get up and take care of some quick chores and come back to it or flip the channel for a bit.  But I won't sit and watch from pre to post race.

If you want to see some good Sprint Car racing I would head down to Cottage Grove Speedway in Oregon for either ASCS or Outlaws...Hands down the best track closest to Washington. Knoxville, IA is second to none for Nationals but its a bit of a drive...haha

We've ran Cottage Grove a few time as well as a few other tracks in Oregon (Madras, won the A-main there), WA, ID, and Alberta, Canada.
