Hey jeep I think you want your bbq to run solo for the first few hours to season and get rid of the chem smell . After that brinening is always good for chicks enjoy
first of all, i feel kind of retarded asking for a chicken rub recipe on this site... but... ive never done any real bbq-ing... i just got done assembling my new bbq, its a brinkmann duel fuel, but i have the offset firebox for doing slow cooking/smoking but ive never used a bbq like this before... i have a big pack of drumsticks in the fridge, and i would like to find a good rub that would work with slow cooking/smoking..i figure this would be a good way to get started... pretty hard to screw up chicken... if you guys had an offset firebox bbq/smoker, and a pack of chicken drumsticks... what would you do?
