I have not been modern arms hunting for big game since I left Alaska in 1999, so this three point rule to me is not big matter because I am VERY close to game when I release my arrow AND because of snafus with myself and friends in Alaska I am going to be DAMN sure of myself before releasing the arrow. As for the 1 inch rule: I don't trust my eye sight during a hunt to believe it could be 1 inch. I need to see a very positive point before shooting.(I believe the one inch rule is there since 1 inch is included when doing measurement for Boon and Crockett or Pope and Young) By the way, this is an excellent topic. |
