Anyone been out there lately? I was going to take my nephew on an elk hunt this weekend, but cant decide on which spot. Dont know how the rifle elk has been going. |

Thats funny you say that. I've seen huge scrapes and a lot of elk over the few years I hunted it, but the only bulls I saw was the ones other people shot. I am a cow magnet. The scrapes there are so much bigger than other places I've elk hunted it makes you wonder why that is. |

Yea we saw a ton of scrapes too.We hunted the tanuem side up by the crest trail. |

I've got a place up near there, haven't got into Elk hunt (yet, next season maybe) just wondering how the deer hunting is in there? You guys see many around? Just wondering if its worth some scouting time next summer or if I should pass it over for other more promising areas. |
