I didn't mention in my original post that I'm mounting a primary arms prism 1x scope that while it has fairly generous eye relief it wasn't going to work where the rail was mounted prior to modification. |

Finished product. Eye relief is good and perfectly usable though probably not as ideal as it could be if you could get the eye piece to 3-4 inch mark to achieve full field of view. |
