I get it... It's a victimless crime... But still illegal... When I was 18, almost 24 years ago I picked a BT that I hit and made her all into burger except the back straps... I couldn't just leave it there... Felt like crap...

Is it?  I've never filled out a salvage tag before, so I don't know the stipulations.   :dunno:

Is it?  I've never filled out a salvage tag before, so I don't know the stipulations.   :dunno:

The law specifies the deer/elk must have been accidentally hit by a motor vehicle.

Well...this was suppose to be more about respect for other hunters who actually do value the 'trophy'...but the legalities of taking a deer head found in the woods is good too.
