I switched back to muzzy again this year and tried a couple of the 1X scopes and ended up going with the Primary Arms SLX ACSS Cyclops with the red illumination. I've been practicing already and it's a very clear prism 1X scope. The chevron is a little different, but actually works great. The Leupold 1X red dot was just blurry with my eyes. You might try one. |

I used the SLX ACSS Cyclops last year. The prism seemed like a great idea for a couple of reasons. I was worried about the large chevron though. I did have it on an elk at 100 yards and it covered most of the elk. the illumination stopped working and I sent it back for repair. it had a wire come loose in it. I assume it is designed for much less recoil than a modern inline. |

Bought this around Christmas, can’t wait to get it set up! Currently have the cva Accura and it’s been great, just wanted something I can feel more comfortable shooting at longer distance, like 150, possibly 200. Not looking to shoot crazy distances. Can’t decide on what to top it with, 1X scope or peeps, have a red dot now and it’s great for under 100, but the dot covers the elk up past that. |
