I've bought 2 cva's from muzzle-loaders.com and had them shipped to the house. Both times went without a hitch. Fair prices too. |

If you are set on a cva I’d suggest the Acura |

You can buy a muzzy from the shop on River road Puyallup Sportsmen as well No FFL required |

I have the same rifle. Some good things have already been mentioned by I can add my personal experience. I had a peep sight base on mine but this season went to a Vortex 1x24 scope and it helps. The sights are a personal thing based upon your eyes. I shoot Blackhorn 209 with the loose powder breech plug and CCI 209 magnum primers. With this I shoot green Harvester Crush rib sabots and either Hornady XTP or Speer Deep Curl 240 grain .429 bullets. Both shoot really well and lots of others have the same experience. You can practice with their Cheap Shots and they shoot to the same point of aim. I keep a little zippered case with me with a Spinjag, some windex soaked patches, dry patches, a 209 primer holder, three vials of pre weighed Blackhorn, three bullets w/ sabots in a vial, electrical tape on the muzzle and a Quake Claw sling and you are hunting. It is not a sexy muzzleloader but it is accurate and consistent. Good luck. SR1 |

I vacuum pack a speed loader and primer and then distribute them between pants pockets, hip band of backpack and inside pack for when I run out. |
