Good suggestions. :tup: Another rule of thumb is to try to either be completely in the sun or completely in the shade, this will help in editing should your image be blown or too dark. Also try to keep from shooting into the sun. :twocents:

good additional info, thanks. This is really a good thread and I hope a lot of people heed what is talked about here. Especially the idea of taking field pics versus bloody, gutted, tongues flopping in the bed of a pickup. Taking an extra few minutes for a prepared picture shoot might seem corny but it's not in retrospect. Great read
