Let's hear about that rifle build Slenk.  I had a great time putting mine together even though it was a kit and most of the rough stuff is already done, just a lot of fine tuning and finishing work.  I think it turned out pretty good though, better than factory GPR's anyway.

Pretty nice job there MagKarl & CP . I have a twin to CP's rifle.
My First muzzleloader was a CVA kit in 1970 built several kits sense then .
Then started building from scratch. The gun in the picture is .54 cal 36" Green Mountain barrel , Large Siler Lock Kit(tuned by me) Stock was a piece of maple plank that a Friend brought from Kentucky for me.
I made all the other fixtures, butt plate, trigger guard, patchbox, and ramrod Ferrel's,and sights. Nose cap is poured pewter. Have some more Photo's I'll Dig out if you guys want.

That’s impressive work Slenk.  I hope the surgery goes well and you are out and shooting again soon.
