For $250 I have to get one...is it a sale, if so do you know how long will it go for?

yup sale till July 1st....just talked to a guy at the gun count at the Federal way sale....just the 30.06 is on sale....but hell of a deal

Post by: Ducknut97 on June 24, 2012, 05:15:49 PM: Yeah they are normally $349 but they are on sale for $100 off. And the sale paper says it is good until July 4th but maybe the rifle is different. I picked up the last one in 30-06 that the store in Lacey had, so I am not sure if there will be too left in other stores. The guy said that there were 7 when they opened this mornig and I bought the last one at around 2.

A friend told me about the sale went to Wholesale Sports and there was a couple left, but I need another rifle like I need a hole in my head. Walked out with nothing.

I've put 40 rounds through it, and so far it's as accurate as I can shoot. :dunno:
The kick surprised me at first, but for how the light the gun is it's not bad.

Both were really accurate. My dad shot 180 grain Fusion and my son shot 180 grain Federal Premium Trophy Bonded Tip.

Post by: Jekemi on July 17, 2012, 01:00:27 PM: Good choice. The new Ruger America is great gun value - well made and accurate. If I hadn't already purchased my Weatherby Vanguard Series 2 I'd have no trouble buying the Ruger American. You will get years of great shooting out of that gun.
