A new wilderness area is being proposed for the Olympic Penninsula. This could result in quite a few more area opening up for the September High Hunt, assuming WDFW continues to allow hunting in all Olympic Wilderness areas. Something to keep your eye on.

The wilderness would be expanded it this is passed and open up new territory, but only a small amount would be really 'high hunt'. I think there are a couple areas in Buckhorn North and Buckhorn South that would increase the alpine acreage.
