Title: GROUSE: preferred method to hunt ?

Post by: Huntbear on July 03, 2012, 11:32:46 AM: It does not matter to me... sitting on a limb, on the ground, flying... whether I am actively hunting them, or hiking or deer hunting, or whatever... Grouse is good eats, and will blow a head off one whenever and however I can during the season.

I really wish we had fools hens here.... YUM!

If we do, I am unaware... we used to be able to knock 6-10 in the head with sticks and have us something different for dinner when we hunted in Montana ......

Anymore, I do not want to shoot any of them as I want my kids to get them.
