I got a call today for my best friend through elementary school through college that his father in law had passed away from prostate cancer. Mr. Davidson had been to my house to visit with my family and was a real neat guy. We talked for hours about his glory days in the NFL and his Miller Lite commercials. For a 6' 8" hulk of a man, he was as genune as they come. Rest in peace friend!
For those of you who are over 40, you will know who I am talking about. For those who do not, here is a little bit on him.

R.I.P. Ben Davidson
From when the Raiders were great, and I was a fan back then. ( No 'Hawks, so it was Packers/Raiders) Lamonica, Stabler, Bilitnekoff (Sp?), Blanda, Shell, Upshaw. The commitment to excellence was real then.
And A Husky Rose Bowl champion to boot.

You mean, an NFL player that played before they took people out of games for head aches lived past the age of 40? ESPN makes it seem like this is not even possible
