Title: The twins have arrived
Post by: Crunchy on July 06, 2012, 05:05:50 PM: I cant believe I waited this long. The twins arrived today. Never so happy to see the UPS guy arrive at the house! Got the Swarovski EL Swarovision 12x50 and Spotter 20x60x65. Tripod and head should be here in a few days. Time to hit the woods and put them to use.

does the EL range have the angle compensator

Post by: Crunchy on August 01, 2012, 10:49:19 PM: I haven't put an exact number to the cost, but I added on a new carbon fiber Manfrotto tripod, and Gitzo pan head. Pretty sure in total 5k or a tad more. Still need a cover for the spotter, and a case. Oh and maybe a window mount head. I got a good deal and paid about 20% less than it could have cost. No regrets.
