Sorry if people are surfing around the different game categories and seeing my posts all over the place.
But I wanted to give duck hunting in Washington a good ole college try.
Only problem is i'm out here in cheney, and it is pretty apparent that there isn't that much water...
I did my undergraduate education in Platteville, WI right on the Mississippi fly way. So I'm lost.
I have been hearing that the eastern WA duck numbers are declining, any thoughts on this?
If there is anyone out there looking for a duck hunting partner, or could take me out and show me the ropes, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks for any info,
Ellsworth

74,000 ducks taken in Grant county last year. Over 400,000 taken in all of Washington last year. I haven't heard that the numbers are declining - there certainly haven't been any changes in limits.

I thought canvasbacks and scaup were switched this year?

With all of the new corn growth for the bio fuel and crap I think we will start to see more birds in the next few years!
