Title: Kettle Crest Trail North
Post by: westside Elkhunter on July 10, 2012, 06:48:47 PM: Hiked the north part last weekend. Left sherman pass friday morning and hit deer creek summit sunday. Saw some cool country along the way. Does this area get hunted much?

Yes. Horses are the main mode of travel from what I see. There is a lot of BIG mulies up there.

All the guys I know hunt them, which doesn't say much, since I don't have any friends ........ :chuckle: It's not elbow to elbow full of people at all. Why, ya wanna come up here and try ?

Well Jess, ya know Conseravtion NW has bought some property near Republic up near the mine.
