My wife got her first bear during the 2010 bear season. July 23rd of 2011 we were finely able to take it into the Taxidermist (puyallup Valley Taxidermy) to have it made into a rug. We really liked the black and red felt so thats what we went with. Yesterday the rug was done so we hurried in and picked it up. She Absolutely loves how it turned out and it looks so good on the wall!!!

very nice rug, what did they charge if you don't mind me asking?

He charged $50 for skinning out the head and paws, and then $150 LF.

Any pictures after the kill.
This is the only picture i could round up. Its always a good time to take a few funny pictures once successfully filling a tag. Due to the fact that the bear was shot 30 min before dark, I wasnt able to get any pictures of it on the ground.
