Title: Posting youtube videos
Post by: 3nails on July 16, 2012, 07:30:37 PM
I see some people can post a video where the picture is already up and all you have to do is hit play, but all I know how to do it is with the link. How do I do that?

Right click on the video and then click copy video url.

Then paste it in your post.

Right click on the video and then click copy video url.

Then paste it in your post.

Actually this will not work. You must click on the options button under the Youtube video and choose the long link option, then copy and paste that link here on H-W. For vimeo videos, use the "V" button right underneath the "B" button and then paste the vimeo link within the brackets.

It works for me.

What has worked for me is to copy the address from my browser, while watching the video on youtube, and paste that into my post. I'm sure the other way that Bearpaw described works too, I just didn't know about that method at the time.
