every time I use a bipod on my gun it squeak with every step and just seem loud in general what do ya'll use to quiet them down or is there a bipod that is quiet?
-
I have a cheapo winchester one and it doesn't squeak. I'd guess some oil would help. Sounds like you may also have a model that allows the gun the pivot.

never had an issue with any harris ones

I have used a Q-tip to apply a tiny dab of vaseline to squeaky pivot points. Worked for me.

when my bipod was new I got some "creaking" from the pivot springs. Must have worn in, because it doesn't make noise now. Try some spray lube. Might help.

Soak it in water
