Title: how do you keep your bipod from squeaking

every time I use a bipod on my gun it squeak with every step and just seem loud in general what do ya'll use to quiet them down or is there a bipod that is quiet?

I have a cheapo winchester one and it doesn't squeak. I'd guess some oil would help. Sounds like you may also have a model that allows the gun the pivot.

I have used a Q-tip to apply a tiny dab of vaseline to squeaky pivot points. Worked for me.

when my bipod was new I got some "creaking" from the pivot springs.  Must have worn in, because it doesn't make noise now.  Try some spray lube.  Might help.

PAM works well for this and lubing cases  :chuckle:
