Go onto NwHikers.com and do a search on the pasayten and you will get some ideas. There should be some trip reports to tell you what the snow conditions and mosquitos are like too.

We just got back from a horseback pack in last Friday. We did Andrew's creek, a 7 1/2 ride in 6 1/2 ride out. Remmel Lake is where we camped, mosquitos were very tolerable compared to 3 years ago but that could change the next week you go in. Snow was not a problem but there were a few patches on some trails, by now they would be mostly gone now. If you have any questions you can pm me. Check out some pictures of the trip under the heading " Pasayten trip 2012..." Hundreds of pictures, so many to choose from.

I hiked out of Harts Pass when I was in fightin' shape. Drove up to the top of the pass and hiked about 5 miles in, beautiful country.
