-
What did you do to it?

What?!! Maybe that's why I was getting a flyer every once in a while. I thought it was just me. What part broke? I'd blame the dang bow tech that last worked on it :chuckle:
If you don't have luck with the store or Trophy Ridge honoring warranty just let me know. I've probably got one or two laying around here somewhere.
-
QAD... :chuckle:
-
They will fix you up no worries. I also wonder what part broke.
-
i will take a picture for yah
-
here yah go
-
Oh I see, did you over tighten it :chuckle: No worries they will make it right.
-
carp it is cracked right along the split pin that holds it to the metal shaft. im sure you know what im talking about.
-
:chuckle: Just flipping you crap. I know you can take it and dish it out :chuckle:
They will hook you up, if not let me know and I will make a few calls
-
there's nothing to tighten or adjust there. its just the part that holds the arrow. funny how its the only plastic part on it and of coarse it broke. just saying it should have been made of metal like the rest of the rest and im sure there wouldn't have been an issue. but maybe the weight wouldn't allow it to move fast enough to clear the arrow and that was looked at already.
-
Hmmmm.... Interesting.
-
yahh i will give them a call tomorrow.. i wonder if sportmans warehouse has a in store return so i dont have to wait for the mail and could trade for a new one tomorrow?
-
Not sure if they do that if its past the receipt warranty.
-
how long is that warranty?
-
I think its 30 days? Some do 45 others 60. I would have to did and look. You can call them up and ask.
-
What a coincidence...my Trophy Ridge...sight broke the other day. Well, I kind of broke it trying to adjust a pin. Was trying to move 30 yard pin closer to 20 yard pin, but was running into the fiberoptic. Pushed up a little on the pin side at same time as screw side, and the pin broke at the base. I thought it was a sign that I should look into a new sight, with so called "bulletproof" pins. Still feel weird about spending 2-300 on a bowsight though. The sight is currently the only original accessory that Spokane Valley Archery talked me into when I bought the bow.
-
i sent their customer service an email including the picture with my address so hopefully they will just send me one :chuckle:
-
Crap i wanted one of those too i guess I should start looking for something else
-
:chuckle: People are funny, all manufactures have stuff break no matter what.
-
i wouldnt be against it. the rest has worked great since i bought it this spring. it might be a fluke. i havent heard of any body else having any issues with it and for the price i could buy three before i would hit the cost of a q.a.d! :chuckle:
-
I have had 2 qad's pull epic fails on me. I would never own another one. In fact when I get a few used bows with them on them I pitch them in the trash  Everytime I try to shoot a bow with one I flinch.
Like I said all have fails. It's how they make them right that makes them stand out. I have not heard on any of the new ones breaking. Yours is the first that I have seen or heard of. It could have had a small void in it when they made it.
-
yahh the QAD comment was for button nubes or is it nubbs lol..
-
It will be nubbs if he does not watch his fingers when the qad pulls a epic fail on him :chuckle: All I can say is I am glad I shoot with a more closed grip then a relaxed grip :chuckle:
-
Can you adjust the string on the revolution without un-serving the string?
-
yes, the end that attaches to the rest is set by a screw so if you leave it a little long you can adjust all you want
-
well lets see what their customer service does with it...I really like the design
-
:chuckle: good one carp. I can't even begin to count the ammount of arrows that have gone through my qad. 3 years and its still going strong. Lifetime warranty. Need I say more? :chuckle:
Still waitin on that video bloodhound :p
-
if i can ever get a week when my bow is working right maybe ill get a chance, seems like its one thing after the other. radsav told me to go see a priest as he feels im possessed.
-
got an email back from bear this morning, they are shipping out the "part" so the lady says. wich i find a little funny since its not a bolt on part. i will have to find a way to push a pressure fitted pin out and remove the part then re press in the pin.
-
My brother had the same thing happen to his. He called them and a week later he had the part at no charge. They were very easy to deal with.
-
yahh i wrote them back and asked for an extra pin with the part just in case i needed it. she said sure and would send me a couple. so far so good.
-
got my parts in the mail today, put it together ran a few shots through paper and was punchin bullets!! took about a week to get the parts but all is good!
-
nice glad it workin again for ya
