So I have heard from a couple people latley that it is leagle to bait elk and deer? Is this true? What are the limitations?

It's true. The only limitations would be...don't shoot a bear.  :tup:

Limitations? You have to buy a tag and you are required to only hunt during the hunting season. Oh, and there are certain times of the day that you cannot hunt, more specifically being when it is dark. I think that about covers the limitations.

Yeah its true ...but the more we talk about it the chances of the bunny huggers hearing of it and then that will be next  :dunno: :chuckle: and definately watch out for the bears ...my friend has been down that road with the wardens in Winthrop one year . lucky after hours of going round and round with the warden they let him go ...yeah he had a deer bait out and was walking to his stand when he saw a bear and whacked it about 100 yrds from his bait and someone was walking up a trail he had apples on and called the wardens just as he shot the bear  :yike: since the blood trail started away from the bait site they finally let him go .... :o :chuckle: :chuckle:
