Title: A Few Backcountry Bucks
Post by: wilsongideon on August 05, 2012, 05:50:45 PM: Fun to do a little Scouting in August, I can't wait untill September. I would like a shot at either of the two bigger bucks maybe get lucky take one home.

It just depends on how brave you are about showing to much of the location. The dark horned buck came out right before dark and we were in his way so he walked right by. The next morning we were on the ridge glassing a different area and we bumped the 2nd nicer deer on our way off the ridge, just got lucky on him he ran out in the open to see what had spooked him. the little spindling buck was trying to get a buck to play with him, he kept nudging him and prancing around, finally he started tearing around the hillside and ran right up on me probably 40-50 yards. all and all it was way more animals and bucks then I had anticipated
