Title: Wolf hunting on The Sportsmans Channel
Post by: CAMPMEAT on August 05, 2012, 09:29:29 PM
I just saw a blurb about the very first lower 48 wolf hunting show coming up. It says it's on August 16th and the 23rd. It's a 2 part show. It's on,
On Your Own Adventures. Double check to make sure I saw it correctly.

I think on Dish you can set it up tomorrow to record it. Right now, it's too far out to setup.

You can set up recording a series anytime. I already record DIY. Can't wait to see the wolf hunt. I wish they'd have a split screen with one showing people from Wolf Haven watching it. That would be a great show.

Cool. 8)  I also have On Your Own Adventures set to record on the DVR.  It is the best hunting show out there, IMO.

SPOILER ALERT If you don't want to know yet then don't read

It was more of a show trying to teach people that wolves need to be managed. No wolves were shot. They got to 500 yards, and could not get any closer. I think that the next show will have wolves hit the ground though.

Great show! Im glad to see one of the celebrities in the hunting industry talk about their feelings towards the antis who think we are blood crazed killers who want to destroy all the animals. I love his, "screw you attitude" and I hope he gets a wolf in the next episode. Randy sure puts together a good show!

great show.. He said it perfect... Sportsmen set the table for the wolves so sportsmen need to manage them! And that we cant just manage the prey and not the predators! I was impressed some of the officals in our game department need to watch this and listen to what is being said!

Good find.  See the pic where the wolf is in the pack on his back?  He looks real big in that pic:
