Title: Problem Bear
Post by: Kola16 on August 06, 2012, 06:05:34 PM: Well my uncle has a bear on his property (only 25 minutes away) that has destroyed his plum tree. He would let me shoot it, and I would love too, but.............like the bears that I hunt in my area, it only comes out at night. Do you guys think that the bear will ever come out during the day :dunno: There are still plums on the tree that are ripening so it will be back.

Ok, I will do that :chuckle: . And yes my uncle wants me to shoot it. The problem with calling is that it would just set off the neighbor dogs :P Oh well. I guess that I will just have to put out a cam, and hope for the best.

Post by: demontang on August 06, 2012, 09:57:16 PM: I suggest patterning the bear. Find the trail it comes in on and fingure out what time the bear comes and goes. The set back up the trail a little way and wait.
