MS
-
Beautiful buck for sure!
He will end up in someones freezer or as evidence, as most nice bucks that live in town do.
-
:yeah: wow he is nice, is it just the side of the post behind it or is there a wierd growth on its back leg? Or just me seeing things :chuckle:
-
city limits? bow?
-
Thats a nice city buck!!

Every July/August we get big bucks like this in the neighborhood seeking the shade and nice watered shrubs. This one was under my in-laws deck earlier in the afternoon until my Mother in law scared it when she went out to water her flowers. I got a pic of one under there last summer. I don't think it is a growth on his leg, just a part of the post. he does have a little 2-3 inch sticker on the left side and I think he is a 8x7 if you count it and the brow tines. Here's the one from last year under the deck.

sweet jesus  thats a beaut! I've seen some nice muleys (not that nice) off sunset hwy. still in city limits

So you haven't accidently backed out of the driveway and ran one over yet??? Or been driving down the road and had the glare from the sun temporarily blind you and cause you to veer and lose control of the vehicle plowing into 1 or 2 or more of them? :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Best deer hunting there is ( getting a modern firearm tag but use your bow during that season just inside city limits where all the studs seek refuge) Whaaaaaappp gotcha!!!
Great buck.

Hey, yeah.....I never thought of that......I could bait him into the shop and then have a trip wire rigged to the emergency pull thingy on the overhead door....hmmm :o
Unfortunately they only stay around during the hot weather......as soon as fall gets here they are gone so no sheds except for an occasional whitetail.
-
well if they don't stay till fall, you'll need a lot of apples, a water trough and a shovel for afterwards :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
That is a Magnum! I would at least try to rope him! lol
-
Jump on his back!!!! :o Damn those are some whoppers!!!
-
Must be fewer wolves in the city limits....
COOL Buck!
-
Wow... Truly awesome bucks!

YEAH THATS IT ...and keep him there until next year when he is a little bigger :dunno: :chuckle:

Bow season is only a couple weeks away. Id smack an arrow in opening day. Put out some apples, maybe some alfalfa or corn and then just sit on the deck and wait. Archery is legal in city limits. Try not to let the neighbors see though!
-
Next time they are in your yard put some food out to keep them occupied and then see how fast you could string out a fence around the joint. Then you can start your own heard and the breading genetics are already there.
