Title: SD cards for trailcams?
Post by: BigFoot02 on August 14, 2012, 02:56:14 PM: Where can you get descent priced good SD cards? I went to cabelas and figured I would buy an sd card along with my other purchases.. :bdid: Those things are crazy expensive.. A 4gb was 24.99.... There has got to be cheaper ones out there.

Post by: CAMPMEAT on August 14, 2012, 04:08:53 PM: ebay. My camera SD card fits perfectly into my Nikon Coolpix camera. I'd stay away from a micro card myself. I talked to Busnell the other day and I was told they have gotten some complaints about the micro cards... :dunno:

I personally recommend only SanDisk SDHC cards only. I've picked up several dozen from 4-16 gig, and never paid more than $5.45 per card.

Nearly every camera I own, recommends not using "ultra" cards. Many trail cam forums also recommend not using these. Not to argue or stir the pot, just a heads up.

Post by: jrebel on August 15, 2012, 04:04:22 PM: COSTCO!!!! When the 8 gb was on sale it was a two pack for $17. Now they have the 16 gb two pack on sale for $7 off. These are SandDisc SD too, which most cameras reccomend.
