Need a little help with bolt
Hey all.
I received my AA 18in barrel upper an bolt the other day. Have it all together now the bolt won't engage the chamber. Could the barrel be to tight? I started @ 60 lbs then alined my gas block. On a prebuild all went together well then when I tightn it all up it seems to be hitting the top of the chamber. I already lossened the yh free float forarm. Is it posibble to tighten the barrel to tight? Any Ideas, it really has me scratching my head. No! I don't fleas :chuckle:. Thanks guys

Hey guys update. Just tweeked the gas tube at the bolt works great ty

Having the barrel to tight would be a hard thing to do, they are designed to seat solid steel to steel. I don't know how expire Ed you are with AR's? But check and see if your bolt is in correctly and not reversed with the extractor opposite the side it should be.

The gas tube was out of alignment? Glad you got it functioning.

Already have two boxes of the 123 A-max to start out with. Plus I have 2 boxes of A-max bullets to reload and two boxes of Nosler 125 partitions to work on. I should have it dialed in @ b4 deer season :IBCOOL:
Hey Carp send me your address just in case :chuckle:
