Title: Stupid full moon!!!!!
Post by: DoubleJ on September 01, 2012, 07:59:40 AM: I hate full moons during hunting season. The deer are move around at night and get back to bed before sun up :bash: I hate full moons!!!!! >:(

Had a average 3x at 12 yards at 7 am and he was still out and about til 8:30 when he finally headed to bed. Saw a doe head to bed about 9. Checked my photos when I got home and last night was the least amount of activity in the last 4 days. The 3x was the only one on the cam last night.

Post by: JBar on September 01, 2012, 05:57:44 PM: Thought the same thing but we seen 30+ deer today. Action didn't slow down til about noon but we'd seen deer on our way out at 1:30. Kids had fun chasing does and a couple legal bucks today that was the best part!

Post by: 92xj on September 02, 2012, 07:07:41 AM: Yesterday morning was the best morning for deer movement this year in my spots. I have had cameras up all year and got an average of 3 day in the mornings on cams. Yesterday in the morning, in the stand, I had 11 deer totally, they started moving 30 minutes after sun-up and were around me for 2.5 hours. at 8:30, I shot the 11th deer and 5x4. Needless to say, I was amazed. I thought for sure with the moon I wasnt going to see anything, I was wrong, It was crazy and by far the most deer I have seen in this spot at one time.

Figured that out this weekend, as I drove out of the woods seeing deer along the way. :chuckle:
