Has anyone ever seen these under $1599? Every place I check is the same price. I'm on the fence right now choosing a new spotting scope between the Vortex Razor HD and the Nikon Fieldscope ED 25-75X (82mm).

Got mine for cheaper than that but not by to much it was a sportsman's show deal keep looking razor is the way to go

Check with Liberty Optics. Good people. You might include a Kowa in your search, really nice.

I have the 82mm Nikon. Very happy with it.

I went with the Vortex from Eagle Optics (found a 5% discount coupon), free shipping, etc. That was the best deal I could find.
I appreciate everyone's input, thanks. :hello:

You wont be disappointed i was watching the flames on the mountain across the valley from me dancing last night and thats like 6-7 miles away. I was very pleased with the purchase cant wait to be in the wilderness tomorrow for the high hunt

I had a Kowa 800 series its long gone ,great for bird watchers but doesnt hold up in extreme conditions :twocents: The Vortex is so damn heavy I would spend the xtra $179 and get the swaro IMO

Vortex is the best by far and the warrenty is so, so, so much better. Vortex is making the glass for the dollar hands down. You can get better but when comparing prices of equal value, Vortex is winning hands down!

check out the Zen-Ray ED2 20-60x spotter. It is the same beast as the Vortex Razor spotter. I heard their eyepieces are interchangeable too.
I got mine for $1200. They now have a $200 off discount with code BFLRH
