Are these any good? Im just getting into predator hunting and was looking for an electronic caller that wasnt to expensive. This one seems to fit my budget but im willing to look at some different ones.
-
They're ok. My brother has one and we have called in a couple bears with it. It's not as loud as I would like but it was loud enough.

Try going to the Foxpro site and look at refurbished units and there is an area where peopled sell used callers. I have seen some real bargins there.

Just buy the Western Rivers at Cabelas, use it for a while, if it's not up to your expectations, take it back for a refund.

Thanks fr the input guys im gunna head up to cabelas tomorrow to take a look since there only 150 bucks.
-
I think it's well worth $150. A Foxpro would cost $500.
-
I've tested my remote unit for it, and I can get @ 150 yds away before I can't control it anymore. That's far enough away from me, I guess....I like mine...I can use a memory card, or I've also downloaded my own sounds directly into the thing...works fine either way. haven't tried the remote decoy part of it yet, though.

Right now at Foxpro, refurbished unit.
FX3 $330-350.00
XR6 $245-265
532B $250-300
416LR $225.00
non-remote $125.00
Mod.38 $85.00
I did not check out the used caller list.
