Post by: Nimrod on September 16, 2012, 11:16:49 PM: Thanks everybody it truly has been a spectacular year to shoot a moose a a goat in the same week, it was also the most exhausting packed out two moose back to back 24 hours apart then to come to Washington two days later and arrow this billy and pack him out with all are gear threw some of the most nasty sketchy area I could imagine.. If it wasn't for Ty (artamen)I would still be on that mt. trying to figure out what quarter I would like to pack out first truly saved my butt and was good company scouting and hunting not to mention for a 150 pound skinny fella can't pack the world on his back, thanks again Ty...

It's no world record by any means but he is the one that chose me and for an archery kill there isn't any words that can describe how happy I am w him and the hunt and the hard hours scouting it was perfect...

CS5, it would have turned out better with larger files but you get the idea.

Last I heard they were heading back in with ropes and shovels to try and get down to him in the crevasse. Haven't heard if they made it out yet...

I called my uncle and they are out. The billy he took is big, at least looked big through the scope. Ryan and I spotted it first thing Saturday morning also, but there was no chance at it with bow. Can't wait to see it, I know he had to wait him out a long time before the goat got in a good position for a shot, the goat slid down a glacier over a 1000 feet and into a big crack, theyes had to go back up and dig him out. Glad they are ok.
