Title: anyone chase chukars in swakane canyon?
Post by: poulsbo on August 23, 2008, 07:45:25 AM: it's been 15 years since i have it was brutal! just wondering if there are still chukars in there.

Post by: Rowdy on August 25, 2008, 08:54:41 PM: Is there good public access in Selah or are you talking private land? I usually hunt the Yakima canyon but was wanting to explore some new areas for chukar this year. If anyone wants to go I got a dog and love hunting chukar.

Post by: Big10gauge on August 30, 2008, 08:50:52 AM: Yep they are still there. Not as many, but enough to still make the effort every year. It can be a tough hunt unless you sidehill it most of the way.
