There is some similarity as stated in the way dip netting season is on the Kenai and the Copper River-- seems like the assumptions come out as soon as native fishing is mention.
The fish whackers are alittle off stroke and some really aren't sure where to dispatch the fish, seems like excessive whacking for sure.. But other than that, not sure where the disgrace is???
The dip netting in AK on the Kenai used to allow the head of family 25 and each additional member 10.. Copper was a flat 25 or 35 per family, can't recall exactly... Lots of fish lying around in similar pools of water while people were getting their limits...

I don't see anything going on there I have a problem with at all. The guys narrating and giggling about it seem a bit like dipsh*ts.
Ever watch a seiner draw up on a whole school of salmon? You'll see literally hundreds/thousands of fish dying from suffocation and basically being crushed in the bag and thrown in the hold. Thats how salmon get in cans and freezers...
