So I have my trail cam set up with some apples and get a few good pic of elk and a few deer. But last night when I checked it I have 4 elk in the pic one spike 3 cows and this 2 point buck walks right in eats some apples and hangs out with the elk for around 30 mins or so. Is that strange or does this kind of thing happen all the time. I will get some pic of it up in the next few days.

Deer and elk are usually pretty cool with each other, I have came across this a couple of times in my experiences in the woods.

Scouting my property I hunt I found my buck and bull for 2012 eating about 20yds apart... made for an easy scouting hike.

Wheres the photo?
Multiple types of animals feeding together at a bait site are not that uncommon.
I have seen pics of a bear and porcupine feeding together, raccon and deer, raccoon and mice, deer and elk together from Washington cameras.
On other sites I have seen hogs or coons feeding with just about everything.
