Flying out of Fancher Field in Spokane on Friday evening. Came over my Daughters soccer game. Not sure where it was heading to or coming from.
The first pic reminds me of the bad grasshopper in a Bugs Life. LOL
This is a serious piece of equipement.

Took these in Leavenworth last weekend. Smoke was worse than San Francisco fog...

Here is a video I shot alsoSky Crane loading up on water (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3_eN3dYPfo#)

WOW.....Firefighter seeing them in action is awsome.
Putting it in scale it seems that the amt of water they can carry is like pissing in the fire?? We used to put our campfires in boyscouts by pissing on them LOL.

Thanks, I have quite a few pictures of the fires I have been to. It is something else to watch them dump on live fire and see how effective they are to help control fires.
He was camera shy that day. We were set up close to the lake and if he saw anyone close to him he would move down the lake about 1/4 mile. All of the other pilots would wave when they saw us taking their pics.
