Post by: patton1 on September 25, 2012, 12:29:34 PM
4x4 with browtines.  If I could just get him to come out during the day.  I have pics of him 2 nights ago about 15 minutes after I left my stand.  :bash: Please make a mistake before Friday.

He didn't grow that set of stickers by coming out in the daylight.

Sweet buck, if your stand is in that clearing you got pretty much zero chance this time of yr to catch him in the clearing in shooting light. I would find the most heavily used trail leading to the feed and setting up as far back on that as I could sneak into quietly. Chances are he feeds his way in to the clearing arriving at the clearing after dark. I almost never hunt directly on food sources now unless it's the rut.

Nice buck, can't wait to get out there my self

Hope your spot has a late archery season. Good luck!
