Did anyone get pictures of an absolutely huge Blues bull killed this year during the archery season that is a 6x6 with what looks to be about an 18" kicker straight out the back on the left side......I have looked but cant find a picture of it. Looks like it is super wide, super long, and carries mass throughout......Dark black with white tips.
If I knew how to delete the guys face I would post the pic......but wondering if maybe it is top secret or something?? Figured some of you guys "In the fancy group" may be able to let me know if this bull is being kept quite or something????
Thanks
-
Nothin fancy about me. Sitten in the middle of Idaho huntin elk! Post the pick id love to see it!
-
If you are refering to this one, it was a high fence hunt and not in Washington.
-
No that isn't it Phool.....I know this bull is the real thing. Just wondering why it isn't being talked about???
-
Just likes keeping the Blues quiet. He is just trying to get drawn like everyone else.
Either way it is a real dandy.
-
:yike:
-
Never mind.....not as big as I thought. Sent the pictures to one of the men on here that is good at judging......Big bull, just not the absolutely huge bull I was told it was......Awesome long arm job though! LOL
-
I wana see the pic.

I have a picture of an guy that grew up in Forks, a few years behind me. He killed an 8x8 in the Blues. I have not posted anything on this because I think it was an Oregon bull, for one, but mainly because I have not talked to him to ask for his permission. I do have a photo and put a Sponge Bob Face over his, wrote the post, last night, but then never posted it.
Probably not the same bull that the OP is referring to, but a huge bull, none-the-less. I was told that it green scored right around 400
-
They alreADY POSTED that bull. His Brother Scott posted up a story and pictures and said it would possibly push 380.

Oh, cool. Will have to search for that, thanks!
-
yEAH THEY DID ... But what a pig of a bull :yeah: :yike:
-
I had a picture on my old phone of a big bull that was supposedly from the blues but I got a new phone and don't have the picture anymore.
-
They dont get that big in the blues...
-
I seen a picture of a bull pushing 400" that was shot in the blues by someone who is on this sight sometimes. For some reason it is being hush hush.... He is a west side guy..
-
I seen the picture also, and heard that it is over 400
-
i think I know, Shannons bull. 9x7 .
-
Did someone say the Blues are a secret?! Even the utards know about the Blues cmon now , we all want to draw a tag but it aint no secret. Now, there are secret spots IN the BLues, that I will agree with. nwhunter
-
Did they video that hunt bucky?
-

I saw a pic of a nice 9x7 too but it wasn't over 400.
-
Id say 390 with all the extras. Looks like a 355 frame with about 40 in extras to me??
I dont know if they videoed it Scott.

Agreed ;)

That's the bull i didn't want to say the name of who shot it. Lots of rumor floating around about score. I've heard 420'', 401". I have only seen a cell phone picture. I'm surprised we haven't seen it on here. Hope he got it on video.
-
Shannon's bull grossed 430" and netted just over 400". There's a pic on Bob's sporting goods website under brag board. I will not post pics.

agreed. been on bobs website but dont see a 400" bull :twocents:

Pics can be deceiving on score (tapes don't lie), the extra point just above the right g-2 is 25" long (the 3rd eye-guard) and with this bull with the great mass it has makes other tines look short.
-
Yeah ok :chuckle:
-
Does anyone know if they got the hunt on video? Nice bull regardless of score.
-
Hmmmm, guess they added the outside spread into the score on accident. There is no way thats a 430 bull. The archery state record grosses 434 ish and dwarfs that bull. I think it was miss scored.

ya think? :chuckle: it's a stud bull for sure but somebody had a few too many cocktails before breaking the tape out if they came up with those scores. By his own admission one of the extra points is 25". If it grosses 430 and has one extra that's 25, then you're telling me the other extras and the rest of it have less than 5" of deductions to net "just over 400"
Come on man, just say its a great bull and leave the rest of the "bull" out of it. :chuckle:
-
Its no hush hush.. Its not over 4 either.. should be in the mid to upper 80's. then again Im no official scorer or have I had a chance to tape it out with great detail.
-
Uggg...
Sweet bull, congrats.

Shannon, Congrats on a monster bull! I can't wait to see the bull in person. Your going to have to put a new addition on the trophy room to fit that bull in there. Good Huntin', Chad

Great bull, congrats. Can you post a side shot?

-
Wow! Great bull, congratulations!
-
One more.
SniperDan, As big as any Rosie Ive ever taken. So around 1k...
Thanks everyone for all the congrats. By no means is this unit a slam dunk. After locating him it took 4hrs to convience him to stand his ground so I could maybe get a shot.
-
Awesome bull!!!! Looks kinda steep there to... :chuckle:
-
Extremely nice bull, congrats, that side shot really shows him well.
-
Congrats Shannon. I was camped just down the road from ya, and you are correct that it is no slam dunk. Knowing that the monsters are there and killing one in a limited time frame with a stick and string are two totally different things. I ended up taking a good bull, but by no means would contend with that thing. AWESOME JOB
-
Another awesome Washington bull. Congratulations!
-
wow... 8)
-
Congrats Shannon, what a stud bull!
