I have been near the old den site of the Teanaway pack on private timberlands and the area was heavily used by cattle all last summer. At that time, I believe the only confrontation was when the pack was drawn into a sheep herd by a recent cougar predation. The pack attacked one of the guard dogs but bailed out when the shepard fired a warning shot.
